Hello,
Wanda and I met in Grade 7 at St Mary's Academy. I sat behind her and used to watch her sketch, astounded by her talent. Specifically I remember her drawing the most beautiful tree I had ever seen. I knew then she had to be my friend. In addition, she always had THE BEST ham sandwiches, 3 inches high is what I remember while I only had 3 inches high of lettuce and a tiny sliver of ham. We used to switch all the time. My other memory is of being left behind on Sunday mornings after Saturday sleepovers so that Wanda could attend mass. I don't remember why I didn't tag along, but thinking about it now, I wish I had.
