Obituary of DAVID TOROK

DAVID TOROK With deep sadness we announce the passing of David Torok on November 18, 2013 at the age of 20. David was born on June 5th, 1993 in Winnipeg. He is leaving behind his parents, Barna and Barbara Torok, his brother Martin Zaorski with family, his grandparents in Poland and Romania, his godparents Ania Lebedynski and Andrzej Idzikowski with families, his uncles Ryszard Idzikowski and Albert Torok with families and extended family and many friends. David attended St. Alphonsus School, Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute High School and the University of Manitoba. He was an A+ student throughout his education and excelled in all subjects. He had a passion for science and dreamed of becoming a neuroscientist. He worked as a security guard at the Manitoba Lotteries Corporation where he enjoyed working and made meaningful relationships with co-workers and friends. David loved being a member of the MennoNuts MBCI Improv team, fishing, playing video games and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a member of the Air Cadets, 177 Squadron where he remained active until the age of 18. Prayers will be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street on Thursday, November 21st at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrew Bobola Church, 541 Marion Street on Friday, November 22nd at 10:00 am followed by burial at Holy Ghost Cemetery. May he rest in peace.
