William Ernest Heard passed away at the age of 80 on Sunday, October 20, 2024, in Winnipeg. Born on September 14, 1944, William lived a life marked by the love and respect of his family and community.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (wife Vicki) and Steven (wife Melanie); along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss his presence deeply. William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Linda, whose memory continued to be a guiding light in his life.

A service to celebrate William's life will be held at a future date in his hometown of Edinburgh, Scotland, where friends and family can gather to honour his memory and legacy.
