Edith Iannone Obituary

Edith Iannone (nee Perrella) 1922 - 2008

With love and sadness in our hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother Edith on April 7th.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Tony Iannone, Madalynne Iannone, Rosa-Lynne and Rick Way and grandson Brett Way. She also leaves to mourn her sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and nieces and nephews. Edith was predeceased by her husband Tony in 1989 and her sister Alfonsina Cordileone in 1999.

Mom always dedicated herself to her family, who were always the most important part of her life. She was a hardworking and devoted woman, always ready to lend a helping hand. She has left a legacy of courage, love, friendship and faith for all who knew her.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano on Saturday, April 12th at 11:30 a.m. Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Interment to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Stan Banasiak, Mark Cordileone, Tom Dercola, Gary Hanaway, Louis Mainella and Michael Perrella.

We wish to thank Dr. Justin Wong and the staff in the MICU at HSC for their care.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edith's memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada MB Branch or Cancer Care MB.
