KATIE GURAL (NEE BABISKY)

It is with great sorrow that the family of Katie Gural announces her passing at Calvary Place Personal Care Home on December 22, 2008 at the age of ninety-five.

She was predeceased by her husband William, sons Bobby and George Babisky, brothers Fred, Bill, Mike, Peter, Alex, Ross and Samuel and sisters Mary Schmidt and Ann Stevenson.

She leaves to mourn her son Steve (Marlene) and grandchildren Deborah (Kevin) Gural, Darryl Gural, George Babisky, Greg Babisky, and Michael Babisky, and a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mom took great pride in her gardening and loved working around the yard. When at home she loved her pet dog Tippy. She also took pride in being able to live in her house for as many years as possible. Her home was her castle.

The family would like to thank the staff at Calvary Place Personal Care Home for their tender loving care during her seven years of residency and for the comfort given her during her final days.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster.
