JACOB JAN DEBETS
It is with extreme sorrow that we Cheryl and Wally announce the unexpected passing of Jake on September 7, 2008. He passed away peacefully at a place he loved the most.
He was predeceased by his parents Emma and Pieter.
Jake leaves to mourn his brothers Bob and Doug; his sister Irene and many nieces and nephews.
Jake loved adventure, being on his boat and having friends around him.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 13 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's High School, 2200 Grant Avenue. An online book of condolences may be signed at www.cropo.com.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jake's memory to his favourite charity - Variety, The Children's Charity of Manitoba, Unit 2-1313 Border Street, Winnipeg MB R3H 0X4.
