Ngoc Dung Nguyen

Ngoc Dung Nguyen, age 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Vietnam on January 17, 1958, Ngoc Dung was a man of extraordinary talent and deep devotion to his loved ones. A true craftsman and creative spirit, he brought artistry and skill into everything he touched—whether through drawing, painting, sewing, silversmithing, fixing cars as a mechanic, cooking delicious meals, or sharing his joy through singing. Above all, he was defined by his selfless, kind, and loving nature. He consistently put others before himself and devoted his life entirely to the care and happiness of his family.

Ngoc Dung is survived by his beloved wife, Thi Lan Tran; his son, Ngoc Duy Nguyen and daughter-in-law Thi Thuy Pham; his daughter, Donna Ngoc Nguyen; as well as extended family members and friends who will miss his warm heart and generous spirit deeply.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the care teams at Health Sciences Centre and CancerCare Manitoba for their exceptional care, compassion, and support.

Private family visitation will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.

Public visitation will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 9:00 am, with Funeral Mass to follow at 10:30 am at St. Philip Minh Parish, 615 La Fleche Street. Interment to follow at the Belgian Sacred Heart Cemetery, 501 Plinguet Street. Refreshments and reception to follow back at the church at 12:00 pm.
