Rowena (Reni) Adeline Brumwell (Person)

Peacefully, with her children by her side at Grace Hospital, Reni Brumwell passed away on July 23, 2026 at the age of 93.

Predeceased by her husband Bob, Reni is survived by her son Rob, daughters Roz (Mike) Moore and Lee (Steve Mrazek) Brumwell; grandchildren Mitchell (Aryanna) Brumwell, Marcus (Savannah) Moore and Megan (Shane) Pratt; Blake Bochinski and great-grandson James Pratt.

She was also pre-deceased by her three sisters Erma, Gladys and Muriel and her fraternal twin brother Ron.

Reni was born in Fairy Glen, Saskatchewan on February 13, 1933. Shortly after moving to Saskatoon, she met Bob and they were married on May 17, 1958. They then moved to Winnipeg where they raised their three children.

As a young woman, Reni excelled in softball and curling. She then developed a passion for golf as she and Bob were long-time members at Bel Acres Golf Club. Reni was a three time club champion and a fixture on their competitive Nassau team. She also was an avid bridge player. Later in life, she was a regular attendee at the Seven Oaks Wellness Centre.

Bob and Reni were the consummate hosts of backyard barbeques for family and friends. Reni was an outstanding cook and Bob mastered the grill and the bar. Their home was always filled with laughter, love and tall tales.

As per her wishes, cremation and interment have taken place and no formal service will be held.
