LORRAINE FRANCES CUMMINGS Obituary
LORRAINE FRANCES CUMMINGS
August 20, 1955 – July 20, 2026
It is with the deepest sorrow we mourn the sudden passing of our wife, mother, and grandmother, Lorraine Cummings (Nee Hall) aged 70, who left us peacefully in her sleep on July 20, 2026.
She leaves to mourn her cherished memory; Her Husband Mike Cummings, Son Michael Cummings (Patricia), Daughter Tricia Cummings, and her beloved grandchildren, Angelique, Cameron, and Thomas. Her sister Kathy, Brother Brian, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Lorraine was born and raised in Winnipeg, but spent many years traveling by thumb during the early 70's across Canada to see all the sights before settling down into her family life, enjoying a different kind of wildness; Raising her children and all her dogs. She was a wild spirit who wanted to soar free.
Lorraine worked in the courier industry for most of her life and met many people she considered friends along the way. She loved to collect music boxes and crystals, and took much pride in decorating her yard by growing her own lilies and placing her decorative rock collection throughout her garden.
A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 1st from 2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorraine’s memory can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard.
But always near
Stil Loved
Still Missed
And Very Dear.
