BRENDA LEE and DANIEL KEATS Obituary

In Loving Memory of Daniel “Dan” Fredrick Keats and Brenda Lee Lee (Keats)

The extraordinary outpouring of condolences, memories and grief following the passing of Brenda and Dan stands as a testament to the profound impact they had on their family, friends, and community.  The countless messages, phone calls, visits and stories share in recent days from across Manitoba and beyond are a reflection of the remarkable lives they lived and the countless hearts they touched.

Brenda and Dan were the kind of people who brought others together.  Their home was a gathering place, their door was always open, and they never hesitated to lend a hand, offer support, or welcome someone into their circle.  Through years of friendship, community involvement, family celebrations and adventures on the open road, they built connections that will endure for generations.

For Brenda and Dan, the Winnipeg Harley Riders Association was far more than an organization.  It was a second family, a lifelong passion, and a community they helped build with dedication, generosity and friendship.  Through countless rides, events and gatherings, they welcome new members, forged lasting connections and created memories that will live on for years to come.

Together, they created a life rich in love, laughter and friendship.  They leave behind not only cherished memories for their family, but also a legacy carried forward by the countless people whose lives were made better by knowing them.

Dan and Brenda leave behind their loving children Donna Lee (George Montgomery), Cheryl “Chery” Lee (Chris Haywood), Jason “Jay” Lee and Mandy Keats (Ryan Jackson).

They will be forever remembered by their cherished grandchildren Paradise Lee (Cody Perreault), Kyla Moore, Tasha Hurd (née Moore, Brock Hurd), Sabrina Parker (née Moore, Alex Parker), Dani-Rose Jackson, Grayson Jackson and Melody Lee-Slatnik.

They were also blessed with great-grandchildren Emerson Hurd, Grayson Perreault, Elianna Hurd and Wrenley Perreault.

In addition they leave behind many beloved extended family members, including Evelyn Bettyann, Diann, Olga, Josie, clarence, Debbie, Robbie, Brent, Rick, Rhonda, Robbie, Kim, Tracy, Carmelle, Heather, Trevis, Warren, Nicole, Kelis, Lincoln, Gabe, Jude, Troy, Marlise, Parker and Levi; as well as a large circle of treasured friends including Dave, Rob and Susan, countless others and their entire WHRA family, whose lives were forever enriched by their friendship, guidance and unwavering support.

Though their final ride has come to an end, their presence will continue to be felt on every highway traveled, around every campfire and in every gathering of the WHRA family.  The road ahead will not be the same without them, but the friendships they nurtured, the community they built, and the lives they touched will ensure they are never forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11:00 a.m. in Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg.
