ALISON ZADWORNY Obituary

It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of Alison Zadworny. Surrounded by her family she passed peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Alison is a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Alison leaves to mourn her loving husband of 47 years Gordon, and her three children, Lisa (Jason), Justin and Aaron (Satwant), as well as her five grandchildren, Andrew, Camryn, Braelynn, Lily and Nathan.

Alison was predeceased by her parents, William and Dorothy Nafostowicz and her brothers, Robert and Wayne.

Alison was known for her passion of working with children for her entire life starting at children's hospital in 1973 up until her passing working with CFS. Alison was also known for her love of all animals from feeding her birds and squirrels in the front yard to feeding deer at the lake.

A special thank you to everyone at Misericordia for your care, compassion and support during my mom's journey.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 5, 2026 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at 1:00 p.m. with burial at Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street.
