ORMEZINDA GONÇALVES FERREIRA JORGE

Ormezinda Gonçalves Ferreira Jorge passed away surrounded by her children on May 26, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on May 6, 1939, in Moitas Venda, Ribatejo, Portugal, she lived a life filled with faith, love and family.

She is the beloved spouse, of the late Jose Santarem Jorge. Ormezinda was the cherished mother of Joao (Ana), Pedro (Gabriella), Paulo (Margaret), and Belita (Roger). She was a loving grandmother to Jacinta (John-Francis), Joshua, and Emilio, and great-grandmother to Rafael. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family and all who knew her.

Prayer Vigil will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at The Roman Catholic Parish of St Timothy, 135 John Forsyth Rd. with Viewing held 1 hour prior.   Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. also at the church.
