LINDA DARLENE HAGER Obituary
Linda Darlene Hager (née Swanson)
It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Darlene Hager (née Swanson), who was born on July 3, 1956, in Dryden, Ontario. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Linda is reunited with her parents, Carl and Rubena Swanson of Dryden, Ontario, her beloved granddaughter, Kailee Lynn Hager and her dear friend (sister) Candy Delorme.
She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Harvey Swanson, and his children, Kelly and Kevin, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Linda’s greatest pride was her family. She leaves behind her loving children: Crystal (Kris), Tara (Mike), and twins Aaron (Teresa) and Adam. She was a proud grandmother to Shailah (Joseph), Brittney (James), Brenden, Jayda, Stoney, Skylar, Brody, Aiden, Ethan, Sarah, Kingston, Michael, and Colby. She was also a deeply devoted and cherished great-grandmother to Riley, Kane, Julien, Knight, Maliyah, Jaxon, Matteo, and Claire, each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Linda worked hard throughout her life, forming many lifelong friendships during her time at Kimberly-Clark and later at Motor Coach Industries, where she continued to build meaningful connections over many years. She took great pride in her work and often reminded those around her that everything she did was for her children and grandchildren.
She had a deep love for animals and a heart that made room for any creature in need. Her home was always open to stray cats, and her backyard became a nightly gathering place for the raccoons she faithfully fed and cared for. If something needed help, Linda made room—no questions asked.
Linda will be remembered for her strength, her sharp sense of humor, and her unwavering devotion to her family. She was the kind of person who was always there—her door open, her table full, and her presence bringing comfort to those around her. Even in difficult times, she carried herself with determination and resilience.
She also shared a special bond with her best friend, known to all as Auntie Shelley, who was truly like a sister to her.
Linda’s warmth, kindness, and fiercely loving heart will be missed beyond words. Though she is no longer with us, her love remains woven into the lives of those she cherished.
Funeral Service will be Friday, May 1, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
