It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, Pearl Bruce, on March 11, 2026, at the age of 70 years.

Pearl will be sadly missed by her three sons: Alex Bruce, Chris Bruce and Carson Bruce (Sarah) and several grandchildren: Brittany, Precious, Brennan, Gage, Markus, Persais, Celine, Isaiah, Dylan, Kelsey, Kloe, Kennedy, and one on the way.  

She was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Bruce; father Stanley Cameron; sisters, Doreen Bruce, Myrtle Sanderson, Sarah Donovan; and brother, Wallace Bruce. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley Rintoul, Lucy Bruce, Libby Bruce and brother, Percy Bruce. 

Our mom Pearl Bruce was born in Little Saskatchewan, Manitoba on December 9, 1955. 

She was a kind and loving mother. She spoke often and proudly of all her children and grandchildren. 

Our mom became a voice for change at the building she resided at for many years. She was a spokeswoman for the residents by bringing forward safety and heath concerns to building management and higher up such as MPs. Through her involvement at the building, she made many friends. She took part in puzzle groups, hockey game nights, lunches and special dinners with many friends at the building. She reached out to family to collect books, clothes and other needed items for building residents.  We would like to thank Tony, Diane, Alice, Barb, and Myrna for their support and friendship over the years.

Our mother was and will continue to be our world. We will always keep her in our hearts and make sure, she is never forgotten, but always missed. 

Honourary pallbearers are: Carson Bruce, Chris Bruce, Alex Bruce, Vance Chien, Anthony Chien, Matthew Bruce, Gerald Bruce, Clarence Bruce, Justin Bruce, Eric Pellerin. 

Funeral Service to be held at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg Manitoba on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 1:00pm. 

Refreshments and a light meal will be served following the service.

A private burial service to follow during the summer.
