It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Fallis on February 18, 2026, at the age of 80 years, following a brief stay at St. Boniface General Hospital.

Robert will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jennifer, and Kristen (Scott), granddaughter Anna, as well as extended family and friends. Robert was predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine (2023), brother Michael, and parents Edgar and Kathleen.

Robert was born on December 7, 1945, and grew up in Winnipeg’s Wolseley neighbourhood. He married Geraldine in 1970 and spent a very happy 52+ years with her. For many of these years Robert was also a proud educator with the Winnipeg School Division and enjoyed his time teaching high school. On the weekends, after the bell, and throughout the summer you could find Bob on the golf course. He was a lifetime member of Pine Ridge Golf Club; it was his second home and family.

Robert also enjoyed travelling when there was a round of golf involved, or a cruise ship with a great buffet. His dry wit and dripping sarcasm were constant. If not watching a sports event on TV, you could catch him in his recliner with a good book.

In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. With details to follow, a celebration of life will be held at Pine Ridge later this spring.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to the ICU staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their attentive and compassionate care during his illness.
