Jose Pedro passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 75 years.

He was predeceased by his mother, Maria doCarmo and father, Jose Pedro, as well as his brother and sister.

Jose is lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Maria; sisters, Virginia Pedro and Maria de Lurdes Pedro of San Antonio, Azores; brother-in-law, Jose Oliveiro; friend, Maria Pereira; and numerous cousins and neices and nephews.

Visitation will begin on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin Street and Funeral Mass will take place at 12:00. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, and then a reception will follow at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.
