JOHN DA SILVA

John Da Silva, 47, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 11th, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, leaving his family, friends, and loved ones in both Canada and Portugal heartbroken by the sudden loss.

John is survived by his mother, Maria; his brother, Marcio; and his partner, Shannon, with whom he shared his life. He also leaves behind his daughter, Brittney; his stepson, Evan; and his grandson, Brandon. He is remembered by his aunts, uncles, many cousins, and by his nephews and niece, each of whom held a special place in his life. John was predeceased by his father, Joao, and the mother of his daughter, Michelle.

His passing leaves a profound emptiness in the lives of those who knew him. John will be remembered for his generous heart and the care he showed to those close to him.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Immaculate Conception Parish, 181 Austin St. N.
