DIANE IRENE GINGELL

Diane Irene Gingell passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 28, 2025, at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 81.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bruce Gingell, and her sister, Evelyn Podolak. She left behind her beloved dog, Lulu, who she cared for dearly. Diane is lovingly remembered by her sister, Elaine Prokopishin; her nieces, Karen Prokopishin and Krista Fiolleau; Krista’s husband, René Fiolleau; and great-nieces Katelyn Fiolleau and Sky Fiolleau.

Diane lived a full and active life and found great joy in travel and spending time at her beach cottage, where she treasured moments of rest and connection. She worked tirelessly and with genuine enthusiasm as a court reporter for over 40 years. Diane deeply valued her work and especially loved the relationships she built with colleagues over the years.

She will be fondly remembered for her dedication, warmth, and quiet strength. Diane will be greatly missed by her family and her friends.

Diane requested that no services be held. To honour her memory the family suggests a donation to the Winnipeg Human Society.
