TIBOR BUSH
Tibor was born on July 19, 1953, in the town of Tiszakécske, Hungary. From a young age, he showed creativity and independence—famously building his own canoe and paddling on the Tisza River, Hungary’s second-largest river.
He later owned and operated his own restaurant and was the proud father of two children from his first marriage, Ákos and Zsófia.
Thirty years ago, Tibor moved to Canada, where he began a new chapter in life and business with his second partner. Trained as a tool and die maker, Tibor went on to work as a cabinet maker, taking great pride in craftsmanship and working with his hands.
Tibor loved spending time at the lakes and found peace and joy in the natural beauty of the Whiteshell, which held a special place in his heart.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, with family interment to take place in Hungary at a later date.
Rest in Peace
Nyugodjon békében!
