Ana Maria Santos Ribeiro

April 19, 1962 – December 12, 2025

Ana Maria Santos Ribeiro passed away suddenly on December 12, 2025 at Health Sciences Center, at the age of 63 years.

She was predeceased by her parents Able Fernandes (2008), Laurinda Oliveira (2014) and brother Jose Luis (1987).

Ana Maria is survived by her children Carlos (Lori), Sandi (Jeff) and Madison (Tim). Her grandchildren Landen, Jeffrey, Valecia, Miguel, Romeo, Athena, Victoria, Catalina, and two more babies on the way in Manitoba. She also leaves her niece Ashley Rose and grandnephew Curtis.

Mom’s greatest joy was her family. She was a proud and devoted grandmother who brought so much light into her life, and she was overjoyed knowing that two more grandchildren were on the way. Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, sharing stories, laughter, and love.

Mom’s laugh was contagious, and she had a smile that lit up the room. Ana Maria gave selflessly, loved deeply, and always put others before herself. She taught us the true meaning of family, kindness, and resilience—not through words, but through the way she lived. Her comforting presence, gentle wisdom, and loving heart will be missed beyond measure.

The family especially thanks the compassionate Doctors and Nurses at Health Sciences Center.

A Prayer Service with be held on Friday, December 19th at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street

Though our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the beautiful memories she gave us and the love that will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who knew her. Mom, you will always be with us, forever loved and never forgotten.
