I am so sorry, Bryan, and to Vanessa's family and friends, for this heart breaking loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Vanessa in university, and to spend some brief time together through shared friend groups. I was always struck by how beautiful Vanessa was, inside and out. Even though we didn't stay in regular contact, she was thoughtful enough to reach out to let me know of someone who passed away who she knew I worked with through one of our shared courses, and I was always touched by her care and consideration in letting me know. Sending my condolences and the biggest of hugs to those feeling this loss. <3

I have a few fond memories of Vanessa. She was always so kind, so happy, so positive. I will always remember Vanessa singing Boney M with my mom around the Christmas table at Dean and Katie’s! My mom talked about it for months. She was so kind to her!❤️
