VERNA LEE CLARKE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Verna Lee Clarke at the age of 78 in Winnipeg. Verna passed away on November 17, 2025, at the Health Science Centre. 

Verna was predeceased by her mother, Retinella Muirhead, father Ezekiel Clarke in WWll, son Greg Ingram; her sisters Estora Anderson-Clarke and Gloria Clarke; and her beloved husband, Lloyd Ingram who was her rock and lifelong companion. She is survived by her brothers Upton Bynloss and Sylvester Clarke; children Karen, Lindon, Colleen, Don, Leon, Rohan, Ralph, and Nadia. As well as her 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 

She will fondly be remembered for her strength, resilience, contagious laugh, and her love for family. Verna leaves behind a lifetime legacy on friends, family, and care takers. 

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m, at New Anointing Christian Fellowship, 1425 Manitoba Avenue, followed by the celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m.

The repass will take place at 1425 Manitoba Avenue after the service has concluded.  

The family wishes to thank the HSC Transplant Manitoba for their care and compassion throughout the years during Verna’s care.
