Ken Kowalchuk

February 17, 1958 - November 12, 2025

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Ken Kowalchuk, due to complications from progressive supranuclear palsy.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter, Allison; sister, Janet (Carl); brother, Ron (Karen); brothers-in-law, Ian (Tanis) and Andrew; sister-in-law, Karen (Len); and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Steve Kowalchuk.

Ken grew up on the family farm near Inwood. Though he didn’t follow in the footsteps of farming, he earned a degree in agricultural engineering and later an MBA from the University of Manitoba, and spent his career in the agricultural industry.

After retiring from Interprovincial Co-op in 2019, Ken enjoyed traveling, weight lifting, and the satisfaction of fixing and building just about anything.

The family is grateful for the support and resources provided by U-Turn Parkinson's and the Movement Disorder Clinic, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help continue their work.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 Main Street.
