Raymond McNeil passed away with family by his side on November 2, 2025 at Jocelyn House Hospice, at the age of 61 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, George and Mary; sister, Iris; and brother, George.
Ray is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Elise; and grandchildren, Ethan, and Ella. He also leaves his brothers, Todd (Tammy), Dan (Kristie), Charles (Mary), Billy (Jacqueline); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Ray was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia to parents George and Mary. He served over 20 years with the Canadian Armed Forces, Sigs Regiment, and later worked as a Provincial Correctional Officer for many years. Ray also enjoyed being an avid collector of World War II memorabilia.
The family wishes to thank those who cared for him, especially the staff at Jocelyn House, and the patient staff at Concordia Hospital.
Per his wishes, cremation is taken place, and his urn will be interred with his parents in Grande Cache, Alberta.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jocelyn House or the Canadian Cancer Society.
