It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tammy Rose Marie Kutzak. She passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 58 on November 4, 2025.

She was predeceased by her mother, Edith Kutzak, step father, William Kutzak, and father Walter Appel. 

Tammy is lovingly remembered by her son Albert Gerard Brown, daughter Euphemia Elaine Brown, and her 5 grandchildren Meira Sophie, Bella Marie, Alicia Scarlet Brown, Caelan Wade Brown, and Reilly Madoc Brown. She also leaves her brothers, George William Kutzak and Arthur Frederick Appel, as well as her nephews, Robert Brosi and Keith Brosi, and niece, Jessica Brosi.

Tammy was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario and later moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where she raised her kids and embraced the community. Her warmth, generosity, and optimism were a light not only for those who knew her but also those who she interacted with every day. She firmly believed in helping make peoples lives better. Even when she was in poor financial and medical straights, she would fuss over other peoples well beings, remind them to take care of themselves, and volunteer to help the less fortunate. Whether she was helping feed the less fortunate at the Urban, helping at the front desk at Club House, or giving her time to Folklorama or Folk Fest, she looked forward to doing her part every time she had the chance. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday November 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Home (1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB)
