EVELYN RAINA FILBERT

March 15, 1968 – October 13, 2025

After a brief illness, on Monday, October 13 at 2:45 a.m., surrounded by her close family, our sweet angel took her last breath.

Celebrating their love forever, her devoted husband Thomas Chwist will never forget her kindness, curiosity, passion and humour.

Evelyn was predeceased by her father Barry Filbert and her mother Lynn Filbert.

Her brothers Barret, Parris, Leigh and Elliot, will carry their lifelong memories of her close to heart. Her nephew Maximillian and niece Arlo have the short times with her during their childhood to look back on.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Evelyn learned to play the flute and graduated from West Kildonan Collegiate. She was an accomplished watercolor painter, a trained Esthetician and incredibly skilled at making soaps with all-natural ingredients. She loved playing with her cats.

Evelyn was and is a beautiful soul and will be forever missed.

Interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12:30 pm. Celebration of Life to follow in Glen Eden Funeral Home from 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
