ADELA BORKOWSKI

April 12, 1935 – October 6, 2025

 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adela Borkowski, who left us peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the age of 90.

Born in 1935, Adela grew up with a strong spirit and a kind heart that guided her through life’s many chapters. In 1971, she made the courageous decision to come to Canada from Poland, seeking new opportunities and a better life for her family.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Adela spent over 30 years working at Nygard as a Seamstress. Beyond her work, her greatest joy came from caring for her loved ones. Nothing made her happier than gathering her family around the table and sharing the meals she lovingly prepared.

Adela leaves behind her beloved son Mario, her cherished granddaughters Shannon (Mike) and Hailey (Mitch) and her adored great-grandchildren Carter and Miles.  She will be remembered for her courage, strength and nurturing spirit.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and loved her deeply.

Cremation has taken place and interment will occur at Holy Ghost Cemetery with a private family ceremony.
