In Loving Memory of Gregory Kraj

September 18, 1985 – May 22, 2025

With profound sadness, the family of Gregory Kraj announces his untimely passing on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Gregory’s life was one of creativity, generosity, and boundless curiosity. He was a beloved son, a loyal brother, a playful and loving uncle, a devoted husband, and most of all, a proud and joyful father to his daughter, Ayla—the light of his life.

From a young age, Gregory showed an extraordinary gift for music and art. He became a multi-instrumental musician, singer, songwriter, and producer, creating music that moved hearts and lifted spirits. On stage, his energy was electric; behind the scenes, he was a skilled graphic artist and show producer, always striving to bring visions to life. His artistry was more than a career—it was a calling, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who experienced it.

Gregory was also deeply curious about the world. He studied engineering, astrophysics, computer science, and religion, reflecting his desire to understand both the seen and unseen. This balance of scientific inquiry and creative vision made him a rare and remarkable soul.

Those who knew Gregory will remember his tremendous generosity, often giving of himself without hesitation. He loved with his whole heart, especially when it came to his family and to animals, and he will forever be remembered as someone who gave more than he took, loved more than he asked, and shone brightly in the lives of those fortunate to know him.

Gregory is deeply missed by his parents, Piotr and Grazyna; his dear sister Andrea (Noel); loving nieces; his widow Kalyn and sweet daughter Ayla; cousins Greg (Yola) and Joanna (Brent) and their families, as well as many extended family members in Canada, Poland, and abroad.

He was predeceased by his beloved grandfather Stefan and grandparents Michal and Maria; Aunt Janina and Uncle Teodor and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private Roman Catholic funeral service and interment have taken place. Pallbearers included cousins and close friends.
