ANNIE DEMIDIUK

With great sadness and broken hearts, we say goodbye to a beautiful, fun-loving and vibrant woman.

Annie Demidiuk (Nee Malak) was born in Winnipeg on May 25, 1932 to Vernon and Stella Malak, where she along with her brothers and sisters grew up.

Annie was an amazing woman; hard-working, talented, intelligent and energetic. She was also very clever and eager to learn.

Annie was a bright ray of sunshine, full of laughter and love. A beautiful woman who captured the heart of Mack Demidiuk. They were a perfect couple, and married in May.

Annie had a captivating smile and sparkling eyes, and a wonderful charm that attracted people to her. Her biggest and brightest smile was always saved for her Mackie.

She was an amazing woman with an eagerness to learn. She was talented in a variety of careers and excelled at several managerial roles in restaurants and hotels in downtown Winnipeg, and earned several rewards for her excellent performance; her thirst to learn was quenched several times throughout her career.

Annie and Mack lived in several locations in Canada and returned to Manitoba where they settled in Neepawa, where they shared a very special friendship with many good friends.

Her love of life, her Mackie, her kindness, and her love for nature will always be cherished.

Annie is lovingly described as a warm-hearted loving lady with a sparkle in her eyes, and a beautiful captivating personality that drew people in close. Her gentle nature and general charm, infectious smile, and bubbly personality will always be remembered;  Aunty Annie had a strong spirit, with unwavering determination, and was feisty till the very end.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elgin and Evelyn for their love and care of both Annie and Mack throughout the years.

Rest in peace dear Auntie Annie, we all love you.
