GORDON RICHARD PAULLEY

August 29, 1964 – July 10, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Richard Paulley, who left us on Thursday, July 10th, 2025, at the age of 60. Gord was born on August 29th, 1964, in Winnipeg, Manitoba to his late parents, Richard and Beverly Paulley, where they briefly lived in Montreal before returning to Winnipeg.

Gord's greatest joy and focus were his two sons, Nicholas and Steven Paulley. Both boys will miss Gord so much but will always remember he was their biggest fan, enthusiastically following their pursuits in sports, academics, and careers. He will also be remembered by Rose Paulley and Jacqueline Reyes, who was soon to be his daughter-in-law.

A natural entrepreneur with a keen eye for technologic trends, Gordon built a successful career in graphic design and custom printing. He honed his skills at GB Graphics and Xerox before venturing out to establish his own company, Xprint Canada.

Beyond his professional life and dedication to his sons, Gord was known for his incredible sense of humor, which could leave everyone in tears of laughter. He possessed an unwavering optimism, always striving to see the brighter side of life, a trait that inspired all who knew him. He was a passionate sports enthusiast, an avid fan of the Winnipeg Jets, Boston Bruins, and Oakland Raiders. 

Gord cherished the outdoors, with many memories made camping at Blue Lake, Rushing River, and Falcon Lake alongside friends and family. Gord also loved animals especially his childhood dog Brandy and the family’s dog Cosmo. 

His family will forever treasure the trips they shared, from the surprise Christmas adventure to Disney to the fun-filled family golf trips at Breezy Point Resort, and the numerous journeys across Canada and the USA for various sporting events. These adventures, filled with laughter and togetherness, perfectly capture the essence of Gord's spirited approach to life.

Gord's legacy of humour, optimism, and unwavering support for his sons will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A service to celebrate Gord's life will be held at Elmhurst Golf and Country Club, 23113 Provincial Rd 213, Springfield, MB on Friday August 22nd, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Gord's memory with a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society or Project 11.
