ANNE HELEN MCLAUGHLIN

September 13, 1926 – July 23, 2025

Anne Helen McLaughlin passed away peacefully on July 25, 2025 at the age of 98 at Bethania Personal Care Home.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Helen Powroznik; her husband Robert Cecil (Cec) McLaughlin; her sister and brother-in-law Natalie and Stan Anders; and her brother-in-law Lucien (Pierre) Nault.

She is lovingly remembered by her only child Robert (Heather) McLaughlin; her sister Bette Nault; niece Darlene (Wally) Hamm; nephew Donald (Peggy) Anders; niece Debra Anne (Gordon) Preece; great nieces and nephews.

Born in Winnipeg, Anne grew up in Dauphin, MB. Anne and her family were Jehovah’s Witnesses and from her early years she was a Bible student and teacher of God’s Word.

She met and married the love of her life - Cec - in May of 1956. They were a close and loving family and raised their son Rob to be a fine Christian man. They shared their faith and hospitality to friends and family over many happy years.

The family wishes to thank Bethania Personal Care Home for their outstanding and loving care of Anne. The kindness shown to Anne will always hold a special place in the family’s heart.

A memorial service for Anne will be held Saturday, August 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 937 Gateway Road, East Kildonan. For those unable to attend in person, the service can be accessed on Zoom. The meeting ID is 849 3993 9308. The passcode is 276978.

A private family interment will take place at St. Vital Cemetery.
