ANNE CHRUSCH

June 28, 1930 – July 21, 2025

It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our Mother and Baba on Monday, July 21, 2025.

Anne was born June 28, 1930 in the R.M. of Chatfield, Manitoba.  She was extremely proud of her Ukrainian heritage as well as of her formative years in the Interlake region.

Anne obtained her teaching certificate in 1951 and taught for a short time in Beconia and Stead, Manitoba.  After marriage she owned and operated Sherwood Grocery in Gull Lake alongside her husband and family until retirement in 1983.

Anne was very proud of her children and grand-children and thoroughly enjoyed her retirement in Tyndall, Manitoba.

Anne was predeceased by her parents Helen and Ludwig Kubas; husband Michael Chrusch (1987); brothers Mike Kubas (1980) and Peter Kubas (2018).

Left to mourn her passing is her son Reginald (Lisa); daughter Carla (John Zalud); grand-children Evan Chrusch, Michaela, Marta and Amanda Zalud; sister Jean Wilkinson and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Anne.

Family would like to thank the support staff at Holy Family Home, for all their care over the last 3 years.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street.  Interment will be at Holy Family Cemetery, 4355 Main Street.
