MICHAEL JOHN KONCHUK

June 21, 1942 – July 12, 2025

On Saturday, July 12, Michael John Konchuk passed away peacefully with family by his side at the age of 83.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Beverley Balbas and second wife, Mary Konchuk, Parents, Winnifred and Michael Konchuk, as well as his brother and sister.

Michael is lovingly remembered by his daughters; Barbara (Allan), Heather (Leslie), and Brenda, Grandchildren; David (Seiy), Sarah (Kyle), and Nathan, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family especially thanks the St Boniface Hospital, Holy Family Nursing Home, the Diabetes Association, Lions Manor, and the Concordia Day Club for all their care for dad.

If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27 at 3:00P.M. at Cropo Funeral Chapel (1442 Main Street). Michael will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery with a private family graveside on another date.
