Milena Jasnic, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 in Winnipeg, at the age of 93.

She was predeceased by her husband Anton, and 9 siblings.

Milena is lovingly remembered by her children, Frank (Julie) and Yolanda (Jerry), and her 3 granddaughters.

Milena was born in Slovenia, immigrated to Canada in 1950, had a career as a seamstress. She was well known for providing žlikrofi for her loved ones.

The family especially thanks her best friends June and Clive Hickson, Vladka Mohoric, and Loretta Cerne.

A Prayers vigil will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at 7:00 p.m.  with viewing an hour prior. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 95 MacDonald Ave. Internment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery, 1 Green Acres Lane.
