DOUGLAS ALLAN BROCK

September 10, 1947 – June 21, 2025

Douglas Allan Brock peacefully passed away Saturday June 21, 2025 at the age of 77.

Doug was born in Simcoe Ontario. Doug served honourably in the Canadian Forces and was deployed overseas to Cyprus, the Middle East, and Germany.

Once settled in Winnipeg, Doug began working for the Commissionaires and served 30+ years.

In 1998, he married Judy and they shared 13 loving years together until Judy’s untimely passing in 2011.

Doug was a quiet man who mostly kept to himself.  At family gatherings, you could find him sitting, legs crossed humming a tune to himself. He was always willing to bring dessert and often gifts. (Mostly for the 4 legged family members)
He enjoyed baking, reading, long drives and Christmas movies (no matter time of year).

Doug will be remembered for his quiet ways and big heart.  He will be missed.

Doug is survived by Sonia, Rick, Cindy, Joe, Jessica, Jessie, Cida, Nelson, Jackie, Brian and Allee.

Doug will be laid to rest beside the love of his life, Judy in a small graveside service on Thursday, June 26 2025, 2:00 p.m. at Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
