ROBERT NEIL HARMS

February 22, 1960 – June 11, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Rocket" Neil Harms on Wednesday June 11, 2025 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 65.

Born on February 22, 1960 in Winnipeg, Robert was a dedicated and hardworking man throughout his life. He contributed his skills to several companies over the years, including Cross Country Drilling Co., PrintCrafters, and Bayview Construction LTD.

Robert will be fondly remembered by those who knew him for his deep love of family, friends and NASCAR; his unwavering work ethic and his unforgettable presence at any gathering. Some of the family’s most cherished memories include summers spent at the Mallen's family cabin at West Hawk Lake and road trips to Kelowna, British Columbia that brought everyone closer together and nights around the fire with drinks and good friends.

Robert is survived by his beloved sons Dustin Kolbuck, Robert Harms and Dale Harms, and his treasured grandchildren Jace, Olivia and Lucas. He also leaves behind his mother Raylene MacDonald and his brothers Blake Harms and Darrel Harms. He was predeceased by his brother Tim Harms.

Robert’s presence, warmth, loving nature and sense of humor will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of his life will be held at Winakwa Community Club, 980 Winakwa Road on Friday June 27 at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you honor Rocket's memory by spending time with your loved ones perhaps around a barbeque or bonfire and have an ice cold Club beer, just as he would have wanted.
