VERA (TERRY) WOLYNIEC

(nee Bronevitch)

Peacefully on Sunday, June 8, 2025 Vera Wolyniec of Transcona, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 98 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, brothers Karl, Alex, and Steve, and by her sister Mary.

Vera is survived by her loving children Judy (Roger) Lussier, Mike (Lucie) and Jeff Wolyniec; sister-in-law Gladys Bronevitch; her precious grandchildren Clint, Amanda, Kayla, and Matthew; and great-grandchildren Madison, Danielle, Carter, Ava, William, and Bennett.

She was born on December 13, 1926 and grew up and was raised in East Kildonan. She moved to Regent Avenue with her husband and family then later to Pandora Avenue.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

A funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 121 Harvard Ave E, with a viewing half hour prior. Interment to follow at Glen Lawn Cemetery, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd.
