Obituary of GERTRUDE MARY LENNIE

GERTRUDE MARY LENNIE

January 17, 1951 – May 14, 2025

Gramma Gertrude beloved wife of Glen, passed away on Wednesday may 14, 2025 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 74 years.

Gertrude is lovingly remembered her husband, Glen; her daughter in heaven, Julia Jay Delorme; grandchildren Trover, Jason, Terry, Sarrah and Angel; great grandchildren Hunter, McKenzie and Savannah.

Gertrude also leaves her brother August Delorme as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Gertrude was born in St. Boniface, Winnipeg and received her education from Brandon University.   She worked many years with the West Region Child & Family Services in Dauphin, Manitoba.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street in Winnipeg with a cremation to follow.

Viewing/Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 12:00 p.m.
