LILLIAN KRUTISH Obituary

Lillian Krutish passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 87 years. Lil is lovingly remembered by her husband of 66 years, Joe; three children Charlene (Gerry), Bruce, and Jason (Angela); grandchildren Ryan, Katelyn, and Bria; brother Andy; nieces Karen, Meagan, and Natasha; and nephews Larry, Gary, and Rob. She was predeceased by her parents, Veronica and Sam, sister Olga, and granddaughter Danielle.

Lil was born on December 9, 1937 in Winnipeg. She met Joe at a dance and they were married one year later. Lil was a passionate artist. She studied Art at the University of Manitoba and later worked at the Manitoba Museum of Man and Nature as an art illustrator. Lil adorned the family home with her paintings and passed on her love for art to her daughter. Lil loved gardening, flowers, and playing bingo or cards. But nothing was more important to her than her family and her grandchildren.

The family especially thanks Dr. Coates for his compassionate care over many years. A private family memorial will be held to honour Lil’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
