BERTHA MARGARET ROHATYNCHUK

January 2, 1925- May 9,2025

Bertha Margaret Rohatynchuk was born on January 2, 1925 to Clarke and Elizabeth Woolford in Gull Lake, Saskatchewan.  Because of the drought in Saskatchewan, the Family moved to the Crestview Area in the Swan River Valley in 1932.  Bertha moved to Winnipeg in 1948 and found employment as an egg grader at an egg processing plant. She met Walter Rohatynchuk in 1948 and they were married in June of 1949. After Walter passed away in 1995, she lived on her own until she was moved in to the West Park Manor in Winnipeg.

Bertha is survived by a very special friend Marvin McDonald who was like a son to her; a nephew Keith Woolford (Kathy), niece Sheila Laurin (Andy), and Larry Woolford (Annette) and several Great nieces and nephews.

Bertha was predeceased by her parents Clarke and Elizabeth Woolford and her brother Elgin Woolford.

Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest at Holy Family Cemetery in Winnipeg on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
