Obituary of MARGARET "BETH" CASE
We are profoundly saddened to announce the passing of our Mom on Friday May 9th at the age of 89. She passed peacefully surrounded by family at the St Boniface hospital.
She was a wonderful Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Aunty and friend. Left to cherish her memory are her son Cam and her daughters Karen and Meighan and Meighan’s husband Glenn. Her grandchildren Grady, Kamryn, Kelsey and her husband Dan (Fynnli and Harlow), Brendon and his wife Brooke (Colton, Devyn, and Maverick), Courtnay and her fiancee Damian (Gavyn, Anistynn) Jordyn and her husband Kevin (Dawsyn and Paisley). Also remembered by her many nieces and nephews and her dear friends Will and Jeanette.
She was pre-deceased by her Dad David, Mom Sabina, sister Jessie and her daughter in law Sandra.
Mom worked at Eatons -mail services until she retired. She was always a strong lady and raised us to be strong and independent like her. She had a few hobbies that she really enjoyed over the years. Playing darts at Prince Edward Legion until her early 80’s, knitting wash cloths for all of us. Her passion was baking and boy did she master that. The cookies, squares and cakes that came out of her tiny kitchen were simply amazing. She was generous and shared most of it with her family and her friends in her apartment block.
Mom enjoyed spending time out at our cottage in the summer relaxing on the deck with her buddy Marge or playing crib with Bill. I will always cherish those memories as will all of us. Thank you to Middlechurch personal care home and St Boniface hospital for all your compassionate care.
Rest in peace Mom until we meet again.
