RENITA MARIE UNA WOODHALL

(nee WAWRENCZUK)

Peacefully on May 8th, 2025, Renita passed away at the Grace Hospital. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Ralph Woodhall, and her loving sons, Gerald (Tanya) and Keith. Renita was predeceased by her son, Ralph Jr, and her daughter, Christine (Aabari), her parents, and her younger brother, Tony. She also leaves behind a large and loving family, including 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Renita had a diverse work history. She contributed her energy during the busy Christmas season at Canada Post and also worked at Eaton's in the food court during the early to mid-1960s. For 25 years, she was a dedicated Supervisor,Waitress and Cook at the Salisbury House of Canada, where she likely touched the lives of many with her service. Renita made many lasting friendships through her time waitressing.  

Renita loved her grandchildren unconditionally, cherishing the moments she spent looking after them and singing and dancing with them. In her free time, Renita also enjoyed the fun and camaraderie of singing karaoke and playing bingo.

Renita was known for her lively spirit and had many friends who enjoyed her antics. She had a way of lighting up any room and was often the center of attention, the life of the party. A true firecracker, she was always ready for fun, and no one could easily get the better of her. Though kind-hearted, Renita was fiercely protective of her family, and you knew better than to cross her or those she loved."

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 1:00 PM. with viewing prior, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery 4535 Main St. West St Paul Manitoba.
