Our deepest condolences,Thaddeus, to you and your family upon the death of your father, Renald. We knew your dad as we all taught in the same school division and Frank taught with him at Glenlawn Collegiate. We are the relatives that my aunt, Judith Hodgson (from Ross Place in Victoria) spoke of. He was a very kind man with a great sense of humour. Keep your memories of him close to your heart. ❤️

My late husband Camil Dufort and I knew Renald when he lived at Ross Place in Victoria, We moved here
from Winnipeg and have relatives who taught school with him. He played his guitar for our weekly
singing circle and danced with a few of us old ladies at Happy Hour. He left us with memories of music
and laughter, I will miss his phone calls, and the stories he shared of his son and grandchildren,
and how much he enjoyed visiting old friends in Saskatchewan. Sincere sympathy to family and friends.

I have wonderful memories of Renald and Gwen when we were neighbours on the farm. My husband and Renald were opposite personalities yet they grew very close, so much so that Renald wrote a song for Vic, titled ‘The Best Friend I Ever Had’, which he sang as they prepared to leave the farm for their new home in Winnipeg. There were tears all around. I will miss his phone calls and his visits to the old home town. My condolence to his family

I was blessed to have Renald as my cousin and to grow up in Radville. He always had a smile whenever we met.
He was a bit of an amateur photographer and was the photographer at my wedding.
Deepest condolences to each and everyone of his family.

Our sincerest on the passing of Renald. Renald and I played guitar, mandolin, and fiddle back in the late 1970's and 1980's, where we gained quite a repertoire of folk, blues and old time country songs. We played at various venues, but the most memorable was playing for the seniors lodged in the Old Folks Home in Radville - they were most appreciative of listening to music from their era. We became best of friends, even after we had gone our separate ways. Over the past couple of years Renald had reached out to me where we relived the days of old, enjoying the banter of two aging guitar players on our monthly telephone conversations.
Renald will be remembered for this wonderful pleasantries, and his love for his family and friends. Journey well Renald.
