I just heard about Kathy-Jo today and I am devastated. I have known her all my life as we were childhood friends. I spent many hours at the Scheirer home. I was one of Kathy-Jo’s bridesmaids when she got married.
Kathy-Jo was always beautiful but it was her kind and generous soul that I will remember. Her lovely smile and her great laugh. We had some great times growing up.
We haven’t seen much of each other since she moved away. But recently we were getting in touch again. She even travelled back to Fort Frances when my daughter died last year. It was such a kind, loving gesture but it was typical of just who she was. I will remember that she did that for me forever.
I’m so very sorry for what her family is going through right now. The terrible grief and loss of such a special woman. My heart goes out to her daughter, son and precious grandchildren. And to the Scheirer family, hold all those wonderful memories close to your heart. ❤️
