Our hearts and thoughts are with the Plamondon families. What a gentleman Bob was. We had been so lucky to meet him and spend time at the lake with kids running in and out of houses or playing musical instruments or catching fish off the dock. And we were all likely eating good food and laughing. Your memory lives on at YoHo Bay Bob. With love the Cooper Family

I did not meet Bob until 2017 when he joined our Retired Men's Curling League at the St. Vital Curling Club. He was that tall guy on the other sheet that was having a great time and making lots of shots. I could tell that Bob was enjoying himself and he also enjoyed the comradery of all our members. He was always up for a cup of coffee after the game and a chance to converse with the other members. I did not really get to know Bob until I asked for volunteers for the Spare Captain's position on our executive and Bob came forward. This was in the 2021 / 2022 season when Covid was one of the main topics around the club. We all understood that Bob had health issues at that time as he always wore his face mask , even on the ice when he was playing. Bob continued to take on the duties of the Spare Captain this past season even though he was unable to play himself. It was not until the beginning of December 2024 that Bob finally had to relinquish his position as Spare Captain due to his worsening health condition. Bob was a great competitor on the ice and made a large contribution to the success of our league. He will be missed by everyone. Marvin Chittick President Retired Mixed Curling Club
