Obituary of DARRIN EDWIN GENE POSTMA

DARRIN EDWIN GENE POSTMA

December 16, 1966 to April 10, 2025

Darrin passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 10, 2025 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg at the age of 58.

Darrin is survived by wife Michelle and son Alex; mother and father-in-law Carolyn and Angus; mom Sharon; brothers Trevor and Jason and his children; Kayla and Jadan; cousin Marian; daughter Amanda and husband Rob and their children Ashton and Gabby, Megan and her children Marina and Myles.

Darrin was predeceased by his dad Al and infant daughter BreAnne.

Darrin was a loving kind hearted husband and father who loved camping and having family time breakfasts.

Alex and Darrin liked to tease each other and Darrin always reminded and bugged Michelle about her Amazon addiction.

Over time Darrin was put upon with several health issues that included being a heart pacemaker recipient and receiving regular dialysis treatments.

Special thank you to Darrin’s friend Kelly for his help and support.  Thank you to HSC GD5 for their care and support.  Darrin suffered with serious illnesses and he succumbed peacefully in the arms of his loving mother.

The Postma’s would appreciate any donations in Darrin’s memory to be made to any charities related to these health conditions.

In accordance to Darrin’s wishes, simple funeral arrangements have been made, cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held.

Darrin will be sorely missed by many.
