Peacefully on March 23, 2025, Stephanie passed away at the age of 92.


Stephanie was born on December 26, 1932 in Selkirk, MB.


She will be deeply missed by her devoted sister Veronica, her 2 nieces Coreen (David) Kieser and Dr. Michelle (Tim Cuthbert) Darichuk.  Stephanie (Chocha) was also loved and will be missed by her grand-nephews Brody (Celina) Haugen, Adam Haugen and Daniel Kieser and by her grand-niece Gabrielle Kieser.


Stephanie worked for Air Canada from her twenties all through to retirement.  Her Air Canada friendships were maintained through the decades until her passing.  Stephanie was known for her love of family, gardening, travel and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Divine Liturgy will be held on Thursday, March 27 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Basil’s Ukrainian Church, 202 Harcourt St.  The interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
