Obituary of EDWARD POSTELLO

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Postello at Kildonan Personal Care Home on February 26, 2025 at the age of 89.

Ed is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; sons, Jason (Vanda) and Kevin (Patrizia); grandchildren, Jesse Postello and Amanda Postello; and sister-in-law Susan Rattai (Lloyd).

Ed was predeceased by his father and mother (Joe and Anne Postello); brother Stan; and brother-in-law Jack Kuczek (Helen).

Ed worked his entire career at National Grain and retired from Cargill Ltd. in 1999. He was an immensely proud member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Parish in Transcona and of the Knights of Columbus.

Ed’s love for people made him instant friends all around. He took immense pride in his family and the family cottage at Patricia Beach and trips to Pinawa. He walked many miles in the aisles of Canadian Tire.

We would like to thank the staff on the 3^rd floor at the Kildonan Personal Care Home this past year for all the caring and hard work in making Dad feel welcome and at home.

In honor of Ed’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

Dad you will remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
