MARLENE JOYCE CANDLINE (nee SINGER) Obituary

Peacefully, on February 14, 2025, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Luanne (Dan) and Kevin (Janice); grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Season (Justin), Caitlin (Regan), Clayton (Brenna, Quinn, Bennett), Jasmin (Keenan, Thomas) and Collin (Michelle, Kinsley).

Mom was predeceased by her husband and love of her life, Bruce Candline, who passed away in 2021.

Mom was born on September 7, 1938, in Saskatoon, SK. Mom and Dad married on September 28, 1957. They raised Luanne and Kevin in Saskatoon until Dad was transferred by the CNR to Winnipeg in 1972. They resided in Transcona for 46 years before moving to Middlechurch Nursing Home.

Mom loved to spend time with her family. She was a very active and social lady. She enjoyed gardening, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and she was a member of the Transcona Legion. Mom was known for always being dressed to the nines!

Friends and relatives are invited to a Celebration of Life on Thursday, March 6, anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 at the Transcona Legion, 117 Regent Avenue West.
