Sending my condolences to Uncle Don's family on his recent passing. My memories of Don were from our days at the Camp, Fletcher's Lake, NS. He would do hand stands and walk around the wharf much to our amazement. The undated photo is Don (r) with his older brother John (my dad) on the front steps of their home, 205 Windsor St., Hfx., NS.

Uncle Don and Myrle were always welcoming to me. I am glad he can finally be with her again. It was obvious he loved and missed her greatly. My condolences to my cousins.

Don and Myrle were important members of the gang that met regularly at Tim Hortons/A&W at Grant Park over the two decades. Unfortunately members have gone and new joined as we learned about each others' families and had the time to solve world and Canadian problems. I will miss the friendships that developed over the years and Don's insights and humour. Art Miki

So sorry to hear of Don's passing. Have often wondered how he was doing. Don was my Manager and mentor at MacDon Industries Ltd. for the majority of the time we worked together in the Personnel Department. Never a dull moment when Don was around, he either had a good story to tell or cheer you up if you were having a bad day. Rest in Peace Don, you were a great friend and co-worker and my sincere condolences to all his family members. Jim Hannah
